Mr. Carlos Jiménez Díaz and Mrs. Conchita Rábago lived at Príncipe de Vergara, 9. Both decided that the building would become part of the foundational assets of the Conchita Rábago de Jiménez Díaz Foundation, the aim being to obtain the necessary means to achieve the respective purposes.

Príncipe de Vergara no. 9 is situated in Madrid’s Salamanca district, very close to the Retiro Park. It was built in 1912, with two neoclassical façades on Príncipe de Vergara and Jorge Juan Streets. It is classified as a Protected Building.
Its most outstanding features are the large spaces, high ceilings with decorative mouldings, wooden floors and the succession of light-filled rooms with balconies. They result is a singular space that is very appealing as a workplace.
